Even though I have some really nice posts lined up, I can’t seem to get anything posted. All for good reasons of course: Kids’ vacations, husband abroad, unbearable summer heat, and – the best one of all – a whole lot of visitors from near and far.
Last weekend, we had three different sets of friends visiting! On Friday night, we had Seattle friends; on Saturday night, a long lost high school friend I had not seen in fifteen years; on Sunday afternoon, family friends from my childhood town passing through. It was incredibly busy and delightful. Next weekend, all Frederik’s college friends are – finally – heading over. The week after, our old neighbors. I should just stop, because it does not stop. Until the end of September. Which is how we like it.
So, instead of stressing out about not being able to have a new post ready every week, I decided to not stress about it and give you short snibits of our wonderful summer. Despite the heat.
