It took a little push from my husband. Okay, more like a kick in the butt. But I/we did it: I/we bought the domain name “wonderoftheday”. Can you believe it was still free? There I was, all ready for a new blog. Except I wasn’t, because it takes time and energy to write, and after months of looking for a job, unsuccessfully of course, I was beaten. Beaten as in Down. Beaten as in “I never should have studied philosophy” and “I should have gone into law”, beaten as in “I ‘ve made all the wrong decisions in life” and as in “I’ve never should have gone to the States”. By then, everything felt useless and pointless, especially another blog.
At some point in those months, I came home with another crazy story of something happening that day. I told my husband the story, as always ending with “Can-You-Believe-This-SH*T!?!?”, and he just said: “You need to write this down.” And I did! And then, I wrote another one down, and another.
As a result, here it is! My very own blog! I guess the good thing about having a bad year is all the stories you end up with. Fortunately, things turned for the better by now and I eventually did find a job! But if you enjoy reading my stories, consider following me or sharing my blog with your friends.
